K.R. Narendra Kumar Ahobila is the Founder of Ahobila Academy. He holds an AMIE Mechanical (B.E Degree equivalent), Studentship in AMIE, ITI Mechanical apprentice Govt. of India, Diploma in Photography (Govt. of India, cultural and development tourism dept). He has experience in this field for the last thirty six years.

He has expertise in Structural Photography, Fashion Photography, Portrait Photography, Product Photography and Architecture,Quality control in printing, Photoshop. Narendra Kumar handles classes in all aspects of Photography and Video Editing.He has worked as a general photographer for five to six years. Child photography, Family photography, Portfolios, Fashion photography, Photography in medical field, Industrial product photography etc. Structural photography with L&T. Design group, Consultants for Hydro and Thermal projects, Crompton Greaves for the Lighting division, South India, Das Lagerwey wind turbines ltd (Holland company for their manufacturing and erection in south India), Aerial Photography for L&T and for land developers, Work for the Magazine MANUFACTURING TODAY published by ITP Publishers which has overseas circulation are a few projects done by Narendra kumar. He has been a Photographers , Videographers Trainer & Consultant, Technical Consultant at Meriyaadein Studio, and has worked as Faculty at Livewires [the Media Institute].

He believes that every picture he has taken is a reflection of some aspect of life that is observed in nature – its forms, shapes, sounds, or patterns. It is out in the open that he learned the true value of natural light and how it can transform an image.. Much like nature's generosity, it was Narendra's desire to share the joy of photography with the world that fuelled his most ambitious project – the Ahobila Academy. It's one of the best institutes for professional photography, which he set up in the Silicon valley.
